How did you meet?

We met in a really traditional way… tinder! We matched the day before I went on a two week holiday so we spent two weeks getting to know each other by text before finally going on our first date the day after I returned.

What about the proposal, how did it go?

Ste proposed whilst we was on a holiday in Center Parcs. It was a complete surprise; Ste suggested we went to a nice spot to take some pictures before a meal out. When we got to the spot, we took a picture together then I turned round to find Ste on one knee!

What was your wedding inspo/style?

We chose to have lots of eucalyptus and greenery in our wedding with hints of navy blue. The greenery led to us incorporating the proposal into the wedding and we named all our tables after the different tree’s at Center Parcs!

Tell us about the dress!

The Rebecca Ingram Hattie Lane Lynette Wedding Dress was the very first dress I tried on and I loved it however I wasn’t sure if it was just because it was the first dress! After trying on a few more I kept looking back at Hattie Lane Lynette and when I put it back on I knew it was the one! I loved that it had a blush undertone and layer of glitter that made it a little bit different but the back of the dress was my absolute favourite part.

What was your favourite part for the wedding day?

The whole day was absolutely perfect but the memory that sticks out to me is, after the photos, Ste and I took ourselves off and sat outside for ten minutes so that we could take everything in, I’m so pleased we got that time! It was also amazing to have an everyone we loved in one room and to watch them laughing and smiling.

Any changes?

It’s cliche but I honestly wouldn’t change a thing! Apart from making sure I actually got to try some of the canapés and evening food!

Any tips for the bride to be?

My biggest tip is to stick to what you want and don’t let other peoples opinions try to influence you or change your mind! I would also recommend making sure you take some time with your new husband after the ceremony.
