HOW DID ELIZABETH KATE BRIDAL START?
Our bridal journey started back in 2012, the year Heather got married. We set out to find her dream dress only to walk away from each shop deflated and underwhelmed. The exciting experience we'd been promised on TV was a far cry from the uninterested consultants we encountered during her search. Eventually, she found 'the one' but it was no easy feat. In that moment, we knew that we wanted to give brides the experience they deserved. In 2017, after a lot of hard work, training and research, the Elizabeth Kate boutique finally opened its doors. Providing the modern bride with a private, relaxed and intimate space, EKB offers two dreamy lounges where you can shout yes! to that dress.
WHAT WEDDING DRESSES DO YOU HAVE?
You're in for a treat because we have the BEST designers. Ok, we might be a tiny bit biased but we have an incredible range of designer gowns for you to try. We currently carry collections from Love by Enzoani, Etoile by Elysee, Willowby by Watters, Wilderly by Allure and Rebecca Ingram by Maggie Sottero. With samples in sizes 8-22, our inclusive ranges are priced between £1000 and £2500. If you want a sneak peek at some of the dresses we stock, find them HERE.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY APPOINTMENT?
So first of all, you're going to get the whole place to yourself.
Whether you choose our Eden lounge downstairs or our Rae lounge upstairs,
you'll have a completely private experience. This means we can fully focus on you and your guests - it's all about you! You'll be allocated a bridal consultant who will listen carefully to how you want to look and feel on your wedding day whilst guiding you through the process to keep it stress-free! Our appointments are relaxed and taken at your pace. It can be really overwhelming for some brides so having time and opportunity for clarity is important.
You'll have access to over 200 designer gowns located across both floors in the boutique so we can really help you find 'the one.' There are drinks, snacks and a special gift for the bride when you say yes!
WHAT MAKES ELIZABETH KATE DIFFERENT?
Besides having a winning combination of designer dresses you won't find anywhere
else around here, an in-house seamstress who can make your bespoke dreams
come true and a choice of two beautiful lounges with lashings of natural light,
we're also really passionate about what we do.
We recently had a bride in crisis. As all three of us tried every possible solution
to ensure she felt incredible on her wedding day, she turned to us and said the
difference between her experience with us and her experience elsewhere was that
she could tell we genuinely cared. And do you know what? We really do.
We aren't paid to just do a job. This is not just a 9-5 for us.
We live and breathe EKB. We talk wedding dresses at 6am and at 11pm. We take every available opportunity to consciously better ourselves so that we are consistently giving
our brides the best help and advice. We are always learning.
